Step 1 – The fundraiser opens in July! Sign up for our newsletter to get all the details ahead of time. Once the fundraiser opens you can sign up online.
Step 2 – Raise money and encourage family and friends to walk with us
Step 3 – Celebrate with us at Bayfront Park with your team (family and friends) on Walk day!
The event opens at 9 a.m. Teams should plan to arrive at Bayfront between 9-9:45 a.m. to register.
Opening walk ceremonies start at 10 a.m.
Is there anything else to do besides walking?
YES! The ‘walk’ is only a small portion of our event. We have entertainment, activities for all ages, raffle prizes, and more!
Do I have to be on a team to attend the walk?
Nope! Although teams have worked hard to raise funds for DSAH you don’t have to be a part of a team to celebrate with us.
Can anyone just show up on walk day?
YES! This is a free community event celebrating Down Syndrome and spreading acceptance and awareness. Everyone is welcome!
Can I volunteer?
YES! Our event is run by volunteers. We have positions for students, Route Ambassadors, Event Setup and Takedown, Activities and more. All abilities welcome.
